We are at Cooke, and while I know you are disappointed, there has historically been at least a little bit of movement late in the summer or early in the fall. If you are willing to start school much later in the year (e.g., December), stay in touch with the school about whether a spot becomes available. Sometimes people decide that their child is not ready for preschool and pull them after a couple months of school. Sometimes people move (it's a fairly transient part of the city). Sometimes people get off other waitlists and move later in the year as well.

Either way, you will almost certainly get in next year as it's an expansion year at Cooke with one more classroom and more students per class. Good luck!![/quote]
