My kid does not have the grades to get into an Ivy, but he is competitive for some selective SLACs. We did the NPC at a bunch of schools to compare; the midwest and northeast SLACs said our EFC would be $35-45K per year. Harvard's said our EFC would be $24K; Yale's was $19K. [/quote]
