I thought the election is NEXT Tuesday. I'm too busy today to bother with it. (Just kidding. I'm the OP, and the one the moderator just accused of being a racist, moron, or deplorable.)
You said the most important issue to you is illegal immigration. If that is more important to you then healthcare, the economy, war and peace, etc., you are obviously a racist, moron, and deplorable. It is pretty clear that being against "illegal immigration" is simply a respectable way of announcing that you are a white supremacist. One scratch below the surface will reveal that you are actually against nearly all immigration, legal or otherwise, involving non-white people. Oh sure, you will cloud that behind arguments that you want immigrants that will "help our economy" and are "educated" and so on, but the truth is pretty obvious.
So....I am a white supremacist, against non-white people, is that it, because of my take on illegal immigration? Are you really going to insist on that old, tired, overused LIE that liberals such as yourself use to attack people who don't fall in line with the liberal position? Then answer me this: if I am such a racist, why did I just vote for the African-American running against the white guy for my congressional district? If I were like YOU, and the white guy wins tonight (which he will) I could accuse all the liberals in my district of being racist. They wouldn't vote for the black guy. So......are you willing to apologize for calling me a white nationalist, knowing that I chose a black guy over a white to represent me in Congress? Admit when you're wrong, and when you accuse decent people of horrible traits.
You are essentially making the "I have a black friend" argument. Sorry, I'm not convinced. Illegal immigration has been decreasing for years. Yet, you consider it the most important issue facing our country. How can that be? Is your healthcare so great that it is no longer a problem for you? Are your taxes so low that you don't even notice them? Do you have the job of your dreams and don't need or desire a raise, additional benefits, or improved working conditions? Are you completely happy with our foreign policy and it doesn't concern you in the slightest? Are the roads, bridges, and other infrastructure in your community in such great shape that they present absolutely no concerns to you? Are you perfectly happy with our environment and are not troubled by increasingly common and violent hurricanes? I'm just trying to figure out in what kind of world you live that your number one concern is illegal immigration. Looking at what others have written, I see that illegal immigrants are handy scapegoats. They are blamed for everything. The economy is not good enough? That's the fault of illegal immigrants. Schools are crowded? Illegal immigrants. Healthcare is expensive? Blame illegal immigrants. As I said, scratch the surface of an "illegal immigrant" opponent and you find an immigration opponent. "We support legal immigration" they say, but then propose stripping the Constitution of the 14th amendment, ending family reunification, restricting asylum and refugees, and proposing educational and financial hurdles (all the time railing against highly-educated Indians who are stealing their jobs). You are perfectly happy with immigrants so long as they are white, English-speaking, middle or upper middle class just like yourself. But, call you a white supremacist and you act offended. If you don't like the label, don't work so hard to earn it.
Still making the accusatiions, I see. Can't admit when you are wrong. Sorry, but a white nationalist does NOT vote for an African-African congressman. Your "I have a black friend" analogy is wrong. You and liberals like you have so convinced yourselves that people who are opposed to illegal immigration are racists that you still can't acknowledge your error when you are faced with evidence that disproves it. So.....you diminish it with a "I have a black friend" nonsense. You really should apology for calling me a racist and a white supremacist. If I were, I would not have voted for the black guy, whose policies and values are more aligned with mine. But you are so intolerant of any position that doesn't go with the upside-down priorities of progressives, you can't do it. Instead, you double down and attack me again. You sure love demeaning and demonizing us conservatives, don't you? Shameful. You are wrong, wrong, wrong.
