From my inner city upbringing and my teaching, I have gotten to know a lot of “Dasias.” Their ability to survive unthinkable losses and stressors blows me away. I think TIU is doing a great job of portraying the depth and complexity of Dasia’s story. I was delighted when she returned and will keep cheering for a healthy outcome to her arc.[/quote]

I like the Dasia storyline also. Randall kids are cute, but nothing really interesting about them.  I was frustrated when Dasia seemed ungrateful after basically asking for the family to help her, but then realized her reactions are pretty true to life.  Who would not have issues with thier Mom giving them up.

I do not hate Kate but they need to give her more of a story than the poor fat victim.  I guess that is the point of the IVF storyline. [/quote]
