So you only allow teachers to teach your child?  They didn't know how to read, write, talk, etc.. before K?  You don't read to them?  Help with homework?  Give them fun workbooks, or take them to free museums or events?  No, many parents do put in the time.  Many don't and rely on school like it is their free baby-sitter.

The reason most kids are so dumb is because the curriculum can only do so much if parents aren't doing anything else at home to help these kids.  So many parents think it is the school's job to educate and they get a free pass.  [/quote]
