OP here. Sorry for not updating soon enough. I ended up having the baby at 35 weeks and 1 day when my water broke. the day that I posted on here I was super stressed, made no less than 40 calls to Ob offices all over DMV trying to get a new one to take me. Sometime that afternoon my mucus plug came out, along with some liquid, I didn't think too much of it but randomly decided to move up my 35 week growth scan at my MFM's to the next day. I casually mentioned to my MFM that my mucus plug had come out and that I was leaking a clear liquid, so my MFM asked me to go to Shady Grove's L&D to make sure it wasn't my water leaking. We both didn't think much of it. When the SG L&D nurse tested me and told me it was indeed my water, I had a massive breakdown and was scared out of mind since I had not met with any new Obs yet. I didn't want to have my baby at all, I begged everyone around me to let me keep him in, but was told that he had to come out. I was not ready and it was an extremely traumatic experience for me. Aside from the initial trauma with delivery, amazingly baby came out super healthy - a 9 Apgar and had no problem with breathing or blood sugar. No NICU stay at all and we went home after two days. He's now one month and I'm struggling with PPD/an overwhelming amount of guilt for having him so early, but getting better every day. For those who asked, the Ob who dropped me is Robert Footer. My amazing MFM was Dr Sheri Hamersly - I seriously can't recommend her enough, I feel like she saved my baby.
