I thought her statement was very ironic given how deeply privileged Serena herself was at that moment (after all, she was on a book tour with security escorts, how much more privileged can you be in terms of being given a platform to spread your views?), and how much she was living in a bubble where she couldn't see where her rhetoric was going. The protestors ended up being right.[/quote]
