School Board members may or may not be aware of plans currently under development by Gatehouse staff and, even if aware of them, disinclined to share information about them until they are ready for prime time.  School Board members aren't known for being entirely transparent or honest about what's going on.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see this kept largely under wraps until after the School Board elections next year, and then see it start to get more publicity.
