I work really close to there and take a lot of walks in the neighborhood.  That is a really nice block but be aware that you are very close to the CSX/MARCC line there.  I'm not sure how often they run through at night but I would check out the house when the trains are running through the area to see how loud it is.

I wanted to make sure I'm not crazy so I just looked at google maps.  As the crow flies, the house is 900 ft from the CSX track.  It may not bother some people but it may be a big deal to others.  Again, it is a cute neighborhood and the whole area is developing.  There is a new mixed use development that is planned on the site of the Metro surface parking lot too.

Agreed. But the neighborhood in general is close to the metro and trains. Half the neighborhood is closer to the trains than this house.[/quote]
