I think a Bro Dad is like a Cool Mom. Heaven help the child who has both as parents.
I had a bro dad and a cool mom. Not good.
Expand please
My parents made me do my siblings homework, do their taxes, file any papers because they were "too cool" to "harsh their mellow" with that. My dad refused to file for FAFSA because it was a lot of papers or pay for application fees for college. I was a national merit scholar and my parents forgot to attend or even drive me to the celebration at my school (their car was too nice for me to drive). I had to do my own laundry from 8 on, pack my own lunch and that of my siblings because my parents were out partying. I have always been self sufficient because of this but I'd prefer not raising my kids this way. I felt like an inconvenience for them. I did not feel loved.
