They can't fix it now. [/quote] Poor people have to live somewhere. You all assuming that the Lee folks want to be rezoned away from their community and school. With the exception of Saratoga mom who posts here all the time about rezoning Lee, many of the people who go to Lee might not feel the same way. That is their community. Fcps has removed trades education from many of their schools. Maybe making Lee a magnet for the academy programs in that part of the county would be a much more positive and effective thing to do instead of closing Lee to make an IB magnet. Many kids could benefit from the academy classes, particularly the kids at Lee who are not college bound. Most people do not want IB, especially if they have the option of AP. It is doubtful if there would be anywhere enough interest in IB to fill a 2000+ seat high school.[/quote]
