Not one for the facts, are you?  If you plotted the average family income of students over the past 50 years you would see a steady downward trend as these colleges began to emphasize diversity and inclusion.  Additionally, as their endowments have soared, they have been able to provide substantial financial aid to low income family.  [b]These colleges represent an important path to the middle-class and she be recognized as such.[/b][/quote]

No.  The previous point painted selective colleges are perpetuating generational wealth inequality by keeping out lower and middle class applicants....that's what gatekeeper refers to. [/quote]
