A number of potential Dem candidates wouldn't run because they didn't think it was worth putting themselves out there. And then they found Doug Jones, who is a terrific candidate, and Roy Moore won the Rep primary, and ... game on. My father still talks about being the only person in his neighborhood with a Clinton/Kaine sign. When we were there for Thanksgiving, there were Doug Jones signs up and down the block in his white, UMC neighborhood,[/quote]
