I feel bad for my kids. This country will never be the same and the American Dream will just be a dream. Unless you are a billionaire there is nothing to be happy about here. What a shame.
So you expect your kids to make $30k or less when they grow up? You really think a lot of them. Luckily all the major economists know that this new tax policy will be great for America. Yep....everyone. Jobs, jobs, and more jobs. People who will currently see a tax increase under this plan won't be in that bracket much longer. They will all thank Trump.
You clearly have not read the bill and do not understand the word "major." Major economists have come out against the bill because it has been shown that trickle down economics does not work. I find it really interesting that one of the richest men in the world--Warren Buffet--who made his wealth starting back when he invested in a pinball machine in his youth is against the policies pushed in this bill. You have your head up your a** if you think that this bill is bad for only those under $30,000. The extreme rich are getting a giant tax cut on the backs of most Americans. The majority of Americans will have less under this tax cut and will, therefore, reduce there spending. Reduced spending will lead to a contraction of the economy. People will have less money to donate to charity so charities will have less money to work with to help address issues like hunger, homelessness, disease, etc. Taxation of scholarship money will make it harder for people to stay in school. The American Dream is dying right now on Capitol Hill so the Republicans can please the Mercer's and the Koch's of the world who own them. The same way Putin owns the oligarchs in Russia. What I see is a bunch of predominantly white men doing everything in their power to make sure that the ruling class of white men will stay in place for generations to come and they are being helped along on that path by white women who have been allowed a place at the table to give cover to the old white guys.
