I feel great for my kids. We are getting some much needed tax cuts, and hopefully this will force a reduction in spending, driving the country back towards fiscal conservative policies. Not a billionaire, but we are really glad that the country is being lead in this direction. What a joy. [/quote]

Oh, it will force a reduction in spending - that will come directly from Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security (to the extent that these can be cut through changing rules for eligibility, they will, they will).  It will also come from educational grant programs and numerous other programs that help the less fortunate rise up.  It will also come from deferred spending on infrastructure.  Where it won't come from?  The military.  And will that lessen the deficit? Unlikely - because 54% of our discretionary budget is spent on the military - around $600 Billion dollars, and likely more in the future as we increasingly seek military options instead of diplomacy to solve our global problems.

As for "WE" - they aren't getting tax cuts, and if they are going to grad school - good luck living a life unless you plan on supporting them into their thirties. Those tuition breaks are likely gone (of course we don't know because we don't know how the tax bill is being reconciled.)
