Because the writers were jealous and resentful of women like her who ACTUALLY had guys falling over themselves to date her.  It's the same reason they gave Miranda that hot and completely implausible doctor who was obsessed with her... wishful thinking. [/quote]

Oh please, this kind of stuff happens in real life all the time. I had a hot, handsome, wealthy, Ivy educated co-worker with incredibly plain wife and this is just one example just comes to mind. It's not like handsome rich guys only fall for beautiful women. Beautiful women fall for nice smart men who might not necessarily be 10 in the looks department. [/quote]
