I'd look at it another way.....who was a self made success BEFORE the series?  As far as I can tell it is only Betheny.  The rest did a nice job of marrying.  That's why I always cut her some slack......and don't forget while the rest of these bimbos are day drinking, she's actually working.[/quote]

She taught herself French and Italian and met the count at a dinner party, where she charmed him and they got married after something like five dates. This makes me laugh.  The bar is so low for women.  Wow, she was a model and a TV host and then charmed a rich guy into marrying her????  How original.  She's totally self-made.[/quote]
