[/quote] More interesting to me - 74.6% of the population voted which is the lowest turnout since 1969. Having said that - that would be the highest turnout in an American election since the 1800s. To those up-thread who were bemoaning the fact "turnout" was low... nearly 3/4 of France's eligible voters came out and cast a vote. One more thing America can be ashamed and embarrassed about, even their low turn-out humiliates us.[/quote]
