My favorite of hers so far was when she was watching Perry play with the kids, and her face went from smiling and happy to really pissed and dark within a minute or two. It was really amazing. I'm not a particular fan of hers but I feel like I instantly became one in those few minutes.[/quote]
I think NK makes it hard to be a fan because she takes so many tortured character roles, or at least roles in projects I'm not interested in seeing (I guess I'm not artsy enough) or she takes small-budget roles that just don't get much play. But the times I've seen her play "relatable" characters, she's amazing (Cold Mountain, Rabbit Hole, Moulan Rouge!, Lion, The Hours).  I think people will be pleasantly surprised by her Celeste. Understated and powerful. [/quote]
