My German sister in law and English cousin both battle their 1-2 year olds over hats too. I seriously have no idea how I would teach my 12 month old not to pull the hat off. He listens so well for his age, and if I say "no" when he starts to pull it off, he stops. For about 10-15 seconds before it occurs to him to try it again. What more can you expect developmentally for a young toddler?[/quote]
