I was really looking forward to it and enjoyed it overall, despite its flaws. I was happy to FINALLY see L & L get married, but it would have been more realistic if they had married years ago and had another kid or two, since they both said they wanted more kids when they were initially together. If they wanted to have them childless and looking into surrogacy, it would have been much more believable to paint them as struggling with fertility vs. just never getting around to discussing it until their late 40s. Also, the wedding scene was a little marred for me because there was so much hype surrounding "the final four words"-- I was worried someone would die or they wouldn't actually end up married or something. I enjoyed Emily's storyline and watching KB perform it. I saw the family living with her as a way for her to combat loneliness and showing that she was changing in some ways. Rory-- ugh. As someone said, she didn't need to be extraordinary, and her professional flops were understandable, but she was just not painted as a good person. The Paul gag seemed mean spirited in the first place, but to drag it out to the last 5 minutes of the revival? Come on. So pointless. And she didn't just sleep with Logan once in a moment of weakness; they had an ongoing physical and emotional affair with apparently ZERO remorse from either one of them. Regarding Rory and Logan, I found myself really wanting them to get together, and it seemed a little ridiculous that they didn't. They are supposedly in their 30s and seem to love each other, and Logan isn't married yet and doesn't seem excited about marrying Odette-- why not just be together?? Regarding the idea that Rory is pregnant as a surrogate working for Paris, this makes the conversation with Christopher make no sense. I actually thought the musical was so bad it was funny, if a little long. The hiking bit ran way too long, as did the L&DB part. Overall, I enjoyed seeing everyone back again and liked L & L's ending, but Rory grew up to be such a disappointment, and her ending at the S7 was MUCH more satisfying than this. (Also, you'd think considering how she came to exist, she'd be pretty careful about unwanted pregnancy, but I realize it can happen still.)
