NO, YOU are going to have to get used to it that you don't get to "protect" him, he is a married grown man. And what will happen when forced to pick sides between YOU and his WIFE is that he will pick his WIFE over you,and you will never hear from him again.[/quote]

+1.  Your brother has a say in his own marriage.  If she has been lobbying for a few years and he finally said "Okay, I'll get some Claritin and we'll give it a try.  We can always get rid of it if it becomes a problem."  that's really between them.  If you don't live in the house, you need to take a step back, tiger sister.  You brother got married.  That makes him an adult capable of standing up for himself and also compromising for himself with his wife over what they do in their own home.

The most you can do is call your brother and say that you saw a photo of their Christmas tree and were concerned about his allergies.  You can lobby him to speak up about the issue.  If he hears your concerns and, for whatever reason, opts not to say something to her, then you are out of this conversation entirely.
