What OP is saying is that the Clinton supporters are saying 'its your fault we are angry... you need to do/say something to make us not angry' then when you do/say something they say 'you didn't do it right, so I'm still angry.' Its not any different than when your are in an abusive relationship and the abuser keeps saying I will stop if you only did/said the right thing (i.e., its your fault I'm abusing you). In this example the right wing folks are being abused by the left wing folks. Anyone who says they don't see the analogy are being, at best, purposefully obtuse. I understand what OP is saying.
You're both nuts. I am picking up that a lot of Trump supporters now feel guilty about having elected him, or insecure about the fact that their may be repercussions for his supporters when the emerging "minority majority" gets its act together and starts to unseat the Trumpists in a few years. But no number of posts trying to spin the current situation is going to make you feel better. The only way that will happen is if Trump, through word and deed, proves to be a better President than he was a campaigner and actually demonstrates that he realizes the responsibilities he soon will exercise on behalf of all the American people, and not only those who lapped up his campaign rhetoric.
