I am not sure I can say no, these e-mails say that if a parent doesn't show up, kid will not cheer at the next game.  Language is such that it states "parents must come." Clearly I must do nothing, but if my child does it, why should she be punished if I can't/don't want to be involved?[/quote]

I can't say because then people would know who I am.  And while I don't care my DD cares a lot and wants to fit in. Anyway, dance is over with, it involved non stop working for four days. I think there is one parent who is too involved and she might be adding to the problem.  As soon as this was over, she sent an e-mail about another event, and asked that all the girls bring money.  These events are causing my kid to have no time for homework, barely any sleep in the last two weeks. While all caps were the reason for posting first, now I am just ticked off about non stop events and plans. I am not talking about girls being home by 6om, I am talking about girls not coming home till 9pm for several nights in a row, due to all of these obligation that are so ridiculous.[/quote]
