I've always thought minority women (including Asian, Hispanic) were cast for their potential to be socially-awkward disruptors. They're always picking someone who's opinionated and/or overly expressive and often with nothing in common with anyone else on their tribe. I think it's something that allows stereotypes to persist in our culture. It seems like they went in the opposite direction with CeCe, but she just had no game whatsoever.
