Yeah, let's give Metro more money, then it will work!!  Why does everyone forget than before SafeTrack, Metro was given $4 BILLION and managed to do basically nothing with it.  Why do people forget that last year Metro failed to use all of the maintenance funds allocated to it?  Why do people forget that nearly every other major city in the country with a subway system runs better, more often, and at lower cost than Metro (good WaPo article about that this week)?

The problem with Metro isn't money, it's incompetent, horrible employees.  [/quote]
