Well let's debunk  your first one. DC does not manage the transit system. Have you not heard of "The Compact".  Also, after reading hysterical posts like yours over the years on DCUM, I was surprised to learn from a recent Washington Post article that WMATA is not the worst manages, dangerous, and dysfunctional transit system in the US.  Apparently, NY, NJ, Chicago, Miami, and Boston is worst in regards derailments, fires, budgeting etc. metro is ranked in the middle of the pact [/quote]
