a college ID doesn't confirm RESIDENCY, only that you're enrolled in a college.
Actually a report card or transcript from a Texas school is a valid proof of residence for the purpose of getting a Texas driver's license. So it seems like college identification should be accepted.
Correct me if I am wrong..... A driver’s license is a state document. Can’t you get a TX driver’s license at any DMV in the state of TX? Voter registration is local. You register in the locality in which you live. A TX driver’s license only demonstrates that you live in TX - somewhere. It does not confirm that you reside in a specific city/town/county for the purposes of voting.
Damn what kinda driver's licenses they got in Texas that don't confirm your residency?
