Gosh I was so happy when I got that sofa.  It was braaaaaand new.  And a style that I loved - that I picked out.  No lie - I felt like a grownup for the first time!

The 2 that are 40+ years old came from my folks.  We have had them for 30 years and my folks had them for about 10 years before.  They bought both at Bloomingdales.  I think we will have grandchildren who will be reupholstering them.  Those suckers are built to last.

P.S.  I cannot tell you how disgusting and difficult it was to move that sucker out of the house to be taken away by the trash and not contaminate everything else in the process.[/quote]
