OP here. Whether or not the girl's statement is correct or not (and it is pretty widely know that Donald Trump has stated he would consider banning Muslims), the fact of the matter is that the girl believes this for good reason and it is why she is afraid of Donald Trump being elected President. She shared this with the boy to help him understand why. He wasn't interested in a debate. He was shocked to learn she was a Muslim, and then wanted nothing to do with her. Horrendous behavior, which is why I am cautious about the boy now. Plus he keeps telling my daughter that Hillary belongs in prison. Also not true.
As opposed to you thinking this boy was a nice kid until you found out he was a Trump supporter?!?!
Please. Not a Donald Trump supporter. I said started with the "Donald Trump stuff", meaning dismissing people based on religion. For the record my family has many Donald Trump supporters. This is not about that, this is about the Muslim girl being told "goodbye, you don't matter to me now" based on that information alone.
You know what they say about assumptions. He would have been shocked to find out she was a Muslim and then said bye to get away from the mean girls. But that assumption wouldn't fit your selective outrage.
