This must be a cultural practice where parents don't bath their children everyday. Children should be taking baths daily. Children play all day and become dirty. This should not be a question.
It might be cultural! Parents from Asian countries tend to be more fastidious about cleanliness. American families are completely ok with small amount of dirt: don't wash hands when come home, can sit on furniture with school clothes on, etc.
I'm AA and it is our family culture to take shoes off at the door, wash hands as soon as we come in, change out of street clothes before sitting on the bed and keeping our home clean. I did bathe my kids everyday and it dried out their skin so the doctir said to do it every other day. You shouldn't lump all American families.
