I think some people don't understand the humor here. The show in general is a parody of a local low budget show-hence the set, music and graphics (with misspellings and 1989s font). It is supposed to be awkward and uncomfortable-that's part of the joke.

Does anyone remember the Seth Meyers White House correspondents dinner where he poked fun at Trump and Trymo just sat and glared the whole time? If looks could kill! There's a man incapable of laughing at himself.[/quote]
I don't belong to either party and I find that first line ridiculous. The last republican president that didn't have a sense of humor was Nixon.

As for her appearing on this program, for me it isn't about the humor, it's about the office. As I mentioned in a previous post this is pandering for votes. And if you were running for some low level office then fine.

We have stopped expecting our leaders to have a certain quality that all great leaders have.

Dignity. Leadership. Integrity. Honor. And most important, it's about our nation and what's important in the present and planning for the future. It shouldn't be about self interest or even the party you are a member of. It isn't about power, it's about the weight and responsibility of that power.[/quote]
