Those of us who understand the impacts of climate change are NOT trump voters. Those who are trump voters don't care. And then there are the odd third party voter who totally understands the impact of climate change, income inequality etc BUT they hate Hillary, so climate and income inequality be damned. Let Trump come and make both the issues much worse than what george W did. But hey they are so much about INTEGRITY and principles that they vote for Gary Johnson who is for oligarchy and Unchecked abuse of climate.
No, there are many of us who are Trump voters who understand the science (I am in a scientific field myself) and know that climate change is a big issue. But if you think voting for Hillary is the answer to this problem -- let alone many others that are of even larger and more immediate concern -- you're nuts.
Yeah the immediate concern is even more tax cuts to the wealthy like himself and a stupid HIGH BUDGET wall that is only an election ploy and will never be built. What else does he have as policy, deporting illegals has already been softened to deporting ONLy criminal elements, same as Obama. His Climate change policy is chinese Hoax. His solution to income inequality is tax cuts to the rich and the wall. His solution to more jobs is tax cuts to the rich and the wall. The trade war is another election ploy because if China is punished, China will punish USA back by throwing out American companies in China, a market of 1.3 billion. Millions will lose jobs in the USA when there is trade war with China.
China as a state barely can keep itself one entity. True now and true in the past. But Noooo, the USA can't expect any country to follow agreed to trade rules.... Trump speaks to this actual problem and wins over voters.
The history lesson about china apart, do you think Trump can make the chinese change and favor America in trade? How? Like how he dealt with his many business failures? Shut down America, declare bankruptcy and make china pay America's bill? China holds $2 trillions of American debt. China is the largest market for many american companies, not USA, including GM, Boeing, Google, Apple, Caterpillar, CISCO, Lenovo etc. China holds the upper hand in any trade deal with any country BUT India. Because every one wants that 1.3 Billion market. India has its own 1.2 Billion internal market and it is internal consumption driven economy, so in general not vulnerable to global pulls. You think Nixon onwards, Reagan, Clinton and Bushes included didn't know how to negotiate with China. They hold all the chips and that equation hasn't changed. Trump with his short attention span will be eaten for lunch by the shrewd chinese.
