I believe that we have a responsibility to do everything we can to minimize our impact on the environment. I also believe we have been harming our world for a long time and it IS making a difference. Now, about politics. A lot has already been said about Trump and his lack of concern but what about Hillary. Is she going to anger the big oil companies, and nations like Saudi Arabia, who have given large quantities of cash to her, her husband and the CF? But beyond that she has a significant track record in favor of fossil fuels, offshore drilling and more. Better than Trump on this issue? No doubt. Strong enough to be more proactive? Lots of doubt.
It is reasonable to doubt what has not been implemented, but does her plan make sense? When I have two candidate, one has a plan to solve issues (you may not know whether it would work until it is implemented) and another who wants to regress from the advancements made so far, I would chose the first candidate for sure.
