[/quote] Not only are they not dead, but they also do a tarantula feeding where they put the tarantula out on the floor, the kids gather around in a circle, and they show a tarantula eat a live cricket (i think it was a cricket, but I can't quite recall). It's pretty cool; I definitely don't like spiders but it was cool to watch. They have a pretty good insect/spider / creepy-crawly area of the museum. Your DS will love it.[/quote] We've been to the natural history museum so many times but I had no idea. We mostly spend our time on the 1st floor and occasionally make it to gems and minerals.
