Following my divorce last year, my youngest two had to come out of private school and boy oh boy was it a culture shock. My middle sons grades were terrible and he complained constantly about the distractions. At the time he was living with my ex and attending Potomac. My ex is a good dad, but not really hands on when it comes to staying on the kids for projects, homework etc. I feel like the schools coupled with the new home life greatly impacted my sons performance. I live in Montgomery county, so this coming school year he will be living with me. Hopefully the schools on this end are better.[/quote]
