I hope that we have passed some sort of effective genetic privacy policies before this risk becomes real. But my friends who work in the field are cautious about this info being recorded in their own and their children's electronic medical records. Knowing about adverse reactions for kids considering heavy duty medication would likely cause you to weigh these factors differently.[/quote]
