But that's just agreeing not to talk about the topic at hand. It does not mean giving the silent treatment in all facets of daily contact, and not to punish or manipulate in any way. There is a difference. Sometimes people are so angry, they just need time to themselves to calm down and think it through. But they need to be able to articulate this when it happens. [/quote]
