You have to compare Thursday night to Sunday night for both destinations (or whatever the travel days were) before saying "only 50 minutes" longer. No way is OBX only 50 minutes longer during the off travel period. My boss had a vacation house (for personal use) in OBX. He would leave DC on Thursday around noon, and then leave Kitty Hawk on Sunday night (like 5-6 pm). He said those times were pretty optimal for driving. [/quote] OBX is not 320 mile from DC area.
