Things we thought came from God (e.g., lightening) now have a scientific explanation and ideas that were once heretical (earth revolving around the sun instead of vice versa) have been proven by science and are accepted by religion. It's religion that "explains away" with simple answers -- not science. Science explains, based on careful investigation and experimentation.[/quote]
