When I explain that we didn't, the questioning parent becomes much friendlier. I even had woman respond with "oh so he's just really tall and is actually smart, not like X who has a May birthday and was held back, disgusting." X is the other kid in the top reading group with my son and the child of this woman's "really good friend." So yes, people talk and judge.[/quote]
