At the same time, my middle child was being seen for OT 1x a week, ST 1x a week and in the midst of testing and tutoring for LD. And my oldest was being seen for therapy once a week too. Add in the occasional pediatrician, ENT, neurologist, dentist, orthodontist, eye appt, etc and my life was running from appointment to appointment. And then there were consults with new specialists and IEP meetings for 3 kids sprinkled in.

Good news is it gets easier for most of us. We no longer have daily appointments. We just have 2 regular therapy appointments a week between 3 kids. Of course, there are still the run of the mill ped, dentist, orthodontist and eye appointments, but almost everyone has those.  We've even graduated from IEPs to 504s. I don't regret any of those appointments. I credit the early and intensive intervention with helping my kids get to where they are today. They're happy and thriving. [/quote]
