OP, As a parent at one of these schools with friends at the other, I will tell you this: This attitude is not welcome at either school. Get over yourself. Your kid is 3.[/quote]

As another parent at one of these schools, I agree with PP.  Please keep your preference for the need for "more prestigious" to yourself, as identifying yourself as that kind of parent won't make you many friends at either of these schools.

I'm not going to argue that our school is better (although obviously I think so because we chose it over the other).  To make that that argument would be disingenuous- they're both great schools, equal in reputation and prestige.  I'd say of all the schools in DC, these two are probably the most alike. [/quote]
