I think we have to realize that for a lot of these women, opportunities for fun are few and far between. I mean, I bet they define, "eating a muffin sweetened with applesauce" as fun. Or, "driving the subaru to yoga class," as fun. It is a low bar, and they truly just deserve our pity--along with our scorn.

You know how all the kids in your college who moved to New York were the ones who were fun at parties? Well, the kids from your alma mater who moved to DC were the ones who called security, because they thought that the black kid down the hall who listened to hip hop might also be smoking marijuana. Like... some of the songs had lyrics? These are women who need their safe spaces. So much. [/quote]
