What do you both do? Why did he take out a boatload of student loans to only make $59k? assuming the road trip is 300 miles each way (60 mph / 5 hours) and I'll throw in an additional 300 miles as a devils advocate to putter around your final destination, we're talking 3 tanks of (cheap) gas and less than a thousand miles. Where's your car and why do you think any of this is a good idea if you 2 are stretched to the bone and can't afford this? My fiancée and I are in your age bracket and would never be questioning this because it should not be a hardship when you're pushing 30. [/quote]
