Otherwise they're just memorizing that dime = 10 cents, quarter = 25 cents, and dollar = 100 cents. Now I actually doubt that there are many 4-7-year-olds buying things with coins these days, but if you happen to have a 4-7-year-old who does, then it is certainly your prerogative to explain about money to your child before the second quarter of second grade.[/quote] :roll: [/quote]
