I do this about once every year or so. I have a very sensitive stomach and there are times when I will eat something at a restaurant that just does not sit well. The best way to describe it is a "brick in my tummy". The last time I did it was after I ate a salad. Once I made myself throw up, I was all better. How often and why this is being done, is what is key here.. If it happening often or because of a fear of weight gain/appearance than that would be cause for concern.
+1. Maybe 3 times in the past 10 years, I have eaten something that didn't sit well with me and my body just flat out would not digest it. It will sit in my stomach for hours and not go anywhere and I'm left feeling awful with shivers and the sweats, unable to sleep or anything. Making myself throw up some of the problem food brings some relief and allows me to rest while my body gets over whatever reaction I'm having to what I ate and in the future I'll avoid the problem food. That said, it has NOTHING to do with weight loss and is only related to the fact that I am miserably sick from whatever I ate.
