If your son did well with algebra this year, I don’t see why he couldn’t take honors geometry next year and at least get on the honors track. Like the PP, I would insist on this if I were you!

OP here.  Thanks for insight and suggestions.  Honors geometry is not offered.  Perhaps i need to go back to the school and see if he can just take regular geometry (with 9th graders) instead going to the lower track.  They didn't offer that.[/quote]
