I posted this. I'll re-calculate.

2 or 3 slices per adult , 1 or 2 per child.

2.5 x 14 = 35 slices for the adults (some will eat 2, others 3); 1.5 x 23 = 33.5, rounded to 34 slices, for the kids.

You need 69 slices. Ask the joint how many slices per pizza, then divide 69 by that number. The answer will tell you how many pizzas you need.

In a group of 14 adults, there'll be like 2 or 3 mofos who'll eat at least 5 slices. That'll balance out the pansy ones like who you can't get thru 1/2 a slice without whining that they're on a road to morbid obesity if they added another pound to their 99-pound frames.

And don't even get me started on how much the kids'll eat. There'll be 23 of them! A group that size will surely include some fatties.  Rewind the clock about 35 years and I would've snatched an entire box and sat in the corner, growling at anybody who got within 4 yards. [/quote]
