Once I felt more comfortable, I got super selective.  I dated a great guy for nearly a year - a wonderful person who I still talk to nearly every day.  And I'm currently seeing another fantastic person - been nearly a year - who would really like to get married.  And I think I might too.

All of that is to encourage you to try.  Trust me, if I was able to figure it out, you will be too.
